A first immersion into heritage and navigation, with the unique experience of passing through a lock.

Itinerary: Departure from Auxerre harbour, at the foot of the old town. Sailing along the Yonne with passage through the Batardeau lock, then turning around just before the 2nd lock and returning to Auxerre.

Along the way, there is a magnificent panorama of Auxerre and its iconic landmarks:

  • Pont Paul Bert

  • Saint-Étienne Cathedral

  • Saint-Pierre Church

  • Saint-Germain Abbey

  • Former Bishop’s Palace (Yonne Prefecture)

Route including 2 locks (2 hrs 30 mins)

A beautiful river trip between town, river and nature.

Itinerary: Departure from Auxerre, sailing along the foot of the old town, passing through the Batardeau lock and continuing towards the Preuilly lock.
